A Quick Overview of Electrolysis.
Electrolysis is the method that is recognised as being truly effective for hair removal by the American Medical Association and Food & Drug Administration. In contrast to laser and IPL, electrolysis works on all skin and hair tones and types.
During the treatments a fine probe is placed in the hair follicles. An electric current is applied. That cauterizes the lower portion of the follicle. The hair can then be easily removed. And with one to several sessions that hair stops growing back.
Electrolysis can treat face areas such as the eyebrows, lips, cheeks, chin, ears, nose; and body areas such as the neck, chest, breast, stomach, back, shoulders, arms, legs, buttocks, hands and feet.
Electrolysis can also remove skin tags, ingrown hairs, milia (whiteheads) and treat broken capillaries.
